Todd and Cathy share wisdom from Wayne Dyer and Tony Robbins about feeling good and why it increases our ability to parent as well. They also discuss Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls and why this book prompted an important discussion. They talk about George Michael, different types of fear, and why we need to know what we are FOR rather than against.

After hearing about the book, Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls, I immediately went to go buy it. I wanted to give it to our almost 10-year-old daughter on her birthday in late January. Sadly the first printing is already sold out so we’ll get it in February. But why I wanted to write to you is because we have been doing our OWN good night story reading with two books that I also recently discovered: Girls Who Rocked the World: Heroines from Joan of Arc to Mother Teresa and Boys Who Rocked the World: Heroes from King Tut to Bruce Lee. The format is different but each person’s story is a short read and perfect for bedtime. They also include testimonials from real life kids with their dreams of how they want to rock the world. My daughter is discovering women AND men who did amazing and important things in history, and I am learning about some of these people for the first time too! Win win for everyone and it makes her excited for that bedtime reading. Me too! Thanks for another great podcast. See you in February at the conference!
