Hey Cathy- you may like “What Alice Forgot by Liane Moriarty. Her other stuff is a little suspenseful, but this one gets into the protagonist’s relationship with her husband. I really liked it … and it wasn’t filled with “bad people,” as you say. 🙂

The Art of Racing in the Rain- Garth Stein
Under the Lilacs- and Little Women- Louisa May Alcott
The Martian- Andy Weir
The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon- Stephen King
A Christmas Memory- Truman Capote
I hadn’t realized how few books aren’t quite dark until I tried to think of this list. If you find one, I’d love if you shared on the podcast. Thanks so much for another outstanding episode!

Turning mundane into inspiring!

Zen Parenting Radio has changed my day to day life. The mundane and sometimes frustrating tasks of the day have become productive and thought-provoking. Now I look forward to folding laundry or my commute so I can listen to Todd and Cathy. They are authentic, funny and a wealth of information and resources. As I am encouraged through Zen Parenting to become a more self-aware person, I already see the positive impacts in my parenting, marriage, and relationships.
