Event Details

The news is telling us that our daughters are in the midst of a mental health crisis, and that sadness and anxiety are becoming their norm. As a parent this can feel overwhelming, but we can learn new ways to show up and listen. We can become more aware of our daughters’ emotional and mental experiences and find ways to connect and support.

In this 90-minute discussion (with 30 minutes for Q&A) we will discuss the life of a teenage girl, why and when they feel pressure, and what we can do to help them sort through what’s difficult and figure out what’s working.

My 19-year-old daughter Jacey will be joining to share how Gen Z discusses and perceives mental illness, how they cope (in high school and college) and why supportive family relationships can be an essential lifeline.
