What is Zen Parenting and why should I listen?

As a Zen Parent you learn to trust your instincts, focus on what is working, and find a healthy life balance. You make it a priority to take care of yourself and figure out what you want from life.

Instead of feeling overwhelmed and stressed, you feel awake and aware. Instead of worrying about what can go wrong, you notice what is working.  Instead of losing yourself, you practice self discovery.

And as you become more aware and conscious, your relationships begin to transform. Taking care of YOU becomes a gift for the entire family as you begin to genuinely enjoy and appreciate life.

Cathy tends to live and parent from a more emotional and spiritual perspective and Todd tends to be more logical and practical. As partners they are learning to combine their strengths to find a balanced and respectful way to parent as a team. And as the parents of three little girls, they practice what they preach on a daily basis.

But Cathy and Todd don’t just focus on parenting; they talk about couplehood, friendships, socialization, and most important, personal choices and experiences. They know that being a parent is their most important job, but there are many parts of life that create the whole, and to be a great parent we need to fully embrace all the pieces.

Todd is a huge sports fan and Cathy loves the entertainment industry, so current events and classic stories are a staple. Laughter is their stress release and they to talk to each other in movie lines, so be sure to listen and catch your favorite quotes.

Join Cathy and Todd as they share insight, humor, and simple tools that lead to Zen Parenting and Zen living – it’s time to wake up and enjoy your life!
